Las Vegas travel video: a practical first-trip guide | Mubboo Flights
This 3.8-minute city guide connects Las Vegas Strip, Downtown, Fremont Street, Spring Mountain Road, and Red Rock Canyon into a practical first-trip plan, helping travellers choose what fits instead of rushing through a checklist. Narration is in English; check the YouTube player for current caption options.

The loop

The middle of the Strip is a 1.6-mile loop and a day of air conditioning. Walk it north to south and finish at the Bellagio lake, because the fountains start in the afternoon.
- Start on the LINQ Promenade in the morning, before the afternoon peak: July’s normal high is 104.5°F, and even the normal low is 82°F.
- Walk south to the Flamingo, five minutes, then on to Paris, seven more; spend the hottest hours inside one of the resorts.
- Reach the Bellagio lake, six minutes from Paris, for a show: every 30 minutes from 3pm on weekdays and from noon at weekends.
- Return to the LINQ end by Monorail from Horseshoe/Paris, a three-minute ride; it buys shade and a seat, not speed, against a 17-minute walk.

| Option | Our verdict |
|---|---|
| LINQ Promenade | Free on every tier. It is also where the mid tier’s 7pm night bus departs. |
| Flamingo and Paris | Free on every tier: the walk is the same, and the indoor stretch is the day’s cooling break. |
| Bellagio fountains | Free on every tier. The free day waits for the 8pm runs; the mid day needs an early-evening show. |
| The evening | Free: the fountains. Mid: a seated open-top night tour. Splurge: 10 to 15 minutes above the Strip. |
Free

The free day buys no entry ticket. Its fixed point is the evening fountain run, every 15 minutes from 8pm to midnight, so the afternoon is yours for air-conditioned breaks.
- Walk the loop above, and take the hottest hours indoors between resorts.
- Be at the Bellagio lake by 8pm: from then the show repeats every 15 minutes until midnight.
- Treat the show as a bonus, not a booking: the outdoor display can be cancelled for weather.
- Ride the Monorail back if you would rather not walk 17 minutes; expect a walk through the resort to reach the fare gates.
Good to know
- Monorail trains run to 2am Tuesday to Thursday, 3am Friday to Sunday and midnight on Mondays, and the operator posts dates on which service ends earlier.
- The Deuce bus covers the rest of the Strip and Downtown around the clock; its ticket machines take cash only.

On your own
Suits everyone: nothing to book and one fixed time, the 8pm fountain run.
With a guide
Skip it here: every stop explains itself, and a guide adds cost, not access.
The free day: US$5.50 in fares.

Mid: about US$65 with the night bus
Mid adds one ticket: the 7pm open-top night tour from the LINQ. It covers what your feet cannot, the far south of the Strip and Downtown, for the price of a seat.
See or book the Big Bus night tour
- Book the 7pm standard night tour, which leaves once each evening from the High Roller bus zone on the LINQ Promenade.
- See a Bellagio show around 5:30pm, then walk or ride back to the LINQ and arrive 15 to 20 minutes early.
- Ride the tour south past the hotels and the Welcome sign, then north to Downtown and back to the LINQ.
Good to know
- The operator lists the tour at about two to three hours and bars loose food and drink on board, so eat before you join it.

On your own
The Deuce also reaches Downtown; this ride adds a seat, an audio guide and one fixed start.
With a guide
It is a ride, not a walk: audio commentary replaces a long night on foot.
The mid-range day: about US$65 in tickets and fares.
Prices checked 19 Sep 2026 · per person, tickets and transport, excluding accommodation
Splurge: about US$140 with a night flight
Splurge swaps the bus for 10 to 15 minutes above the Strip and Downtown. Book the version with hotel pickup: the operator’s terminal is at 5060 Koval Lane, and guests otherwise make their own way there.
See or book the Strip night helicopter flight
- Book the flight with hotel pickup after checking on the listing that your hotel is a pickup point; then plan the afternoon around the pickup time.
- Finish the loop early and be back at your hotel for the pickup; the flight sets the schedule, not the fountains.
- Fly over both sides of the Strip and Downtown, narrated by the pilot; the rest of the evening is yours.
Good to know
- Refunds differ from the bus: this option refunds in full only when cancelled at least three days before departure.
| Item | US$ per adult | € |
|---|---|---|
| Monorail, one ride (eTicket) | US$5.50 | ≈ €5 |
| Strip night helicopter flight, hotel pickup | US$129 | ≈ €117 |
| Total | US$134.50 | ≈ €122 |
On your own
Take the pickup version; reaching the terminal yourself is a separate trip to plan.
With a guide
The pilot narrates, so the flight is the guided part; no guided walk is needed.
The splurge day: about US$140 in the flight and fares.
Prices checked 19 Sep 2026 · per person, tickets and transport, excluding accommodation
If you are on a layover
The airport is under five road miles from the loop; pickup walks and roadworks take the time. Under about six hours from landing, keep to the morning walk and skip the evening tiers, which start at 7pm.
Good to know
- Rideshare pickup: Terminal 1 is on Level 2 of the parking garage, via the elevator near Door 2 and a bridge. Terminal 3’s is on the garage Valet Level.
- Taxis: zone fares of US$22.25, US$26.25 and US$30.25 (Zone 3 starts north of Flamingo Road), before a US$2.40 airport fee, a fuel surcharge and 3% tax.
- Bus: Route 108 and the Red Line stop at Terminal 1 Level Zero. Route 108 follows Paradise Road, not the Strip, and the Deuce has no airport stop.
- The airport says the connector tunnels are down to two lanes until repaving ends. It expects to finish by the end of December 2026, so add time to every road trip.

Where a paid ticket earns its money in one day
The free loop needs no guide. Paying earns its place after dark, when the Strip’s far south, Downtown and the view from the air are out of walking range. Compare the night options below.
Mubboo compares flights and tours and may earn a commission when a traveller uses a partner link. Booking and payment happen with the provider.

Questions people ask
When do the Bellagio fountains run?
From 3pm on weekdays and noon at weekends and holidays, every 30 minutes until 7:30pm, then every 15 minutes until midnight. The outdoor display can be cancelled for weather.
Does the Monorail stop at Bellagio?
No. Its seven stations run from MGM Grand to SAHARA. The nearest on this loop is Horseshoe/Paris, and each station sits behind its resort, so allow a walk through the building.
Can I rely on the Monorail for a late return?
It runs to 2am Tuesday to Thursday, 3am Friday to Sunday and midnight on Mondays, but it posts dates when service ends earlier. Keep a road option in mind for a late night.
Can I reach Downtown without the night bus?
Yes. The Deuce runs 24 hours, every 10 to 15 minutes from 7am to 1am, and calls at Fremont Street. Its ticket machines take cash only.
Which evening is worth paying for?
The night bus, for most travellers: one ticket, a seat and both ends of the route. Choose the flight only if the view from the air is the point, since it lasts 10 to 15 minutes.
How much of this fits a layover?
Under about six hours from landing, keep to the morning walk. Add pickup time and the tunnel roadworks to the ride, and leave the evening options for a longer stay.
