Which ticket to book first
The order follows what limits each date. The Center has the fewest open days, the Aviation Museum runs on a shuttle timetable, and the Bishop Museum opens daily, so it goes last.
- Polynesian Cultural Center first: it is closed on Sundays and most Wednesdays, so pick one of its open days. The villages open at 12:15pm, which makes it an afternoon.
- Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum second: the free shuttle leaves about every 15 minutes until 4pm, and the last one back leaves at 5pm. Allow 40 to 60 minutes inside.
- Bishop Museum last, on whichever day is left: it opens daily 9am to 5pm, and the last check-in is at 4pm.
- Keep Thanksgiving, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day clear: all three close. The Bishop Museum also closes on Christmas Eve.

- The Aviation Museum shuttle takes no bags. Leave them at the hotel, or store them for a fee at the shuttle stop.
