How to use the two-day ticket

  1. Buy the Royal Edinburgh Ticket first. It is free to cancel up to 24 hours before the scheduled start.
  2. Book Edinburgh Castle online immediately after purchase, because summer sell-outs leave no tickets at the castle.
  3. Allow at least 2 hours at the Castle, and fit the Palace in on either day since it is open throughout the year.
  4. Use the other day for Royal Yacht Britannia in Leith; on average visitors spend 2 hours on board.

The ticket total: £85 for two days

Edinburgh Castle and the Royal Yacht Britannia already cost about £46.50 booked separately for one adult. The Royal Edinburgh Ticket adds the Palace and 48 hours of bus tours for £85.
